THE LGS PROTOCOL COURSE

Understanding the Microbiome, Gut Health & Immune System. The LGS Protocol Course provides healthcare professionals with a practical understanding of the connection between the gut microbiome, intestinal permeability, inflammation, immune function, metabolism, and chronic disease. The course combines scientific concepts, laboratory interpretation, and clinical cases to demonstrate how the LGS Protocol can be incorporated into clinical practice.

COURSE CONTENT

Module 1 — Introduction to the LGS Protocol. Learn the foundations of the LGS Protocol, intestinal permeability, the gut barrier, and the connection between the gut and immune system.

Module 2 — Understanding the Microbiome. Explore the human gut microbiome, dysbiosis, beneficial and opportunistic microorganisms, microbial metabolites, and the fundamentals of GI-MAP testing.

Module 3 — SIBO & Breath Test Interpretation. Understand SIBO, IMO, hydrogen and hydrogen sulfide patterns, breath testing, clinical symptoms, and treatment strategies.

Module 4 — Microbiome, Nutrition & Epigenetics. Explore the relationship between the microbiome, Vitamin D, VDR, SNPs, methylation, nutrients, and epigenetic regulation.

Module 5 — Autoimmunity & the Gut. Understand how intestinal permeability, dysbiosis, inflammation, molecular mimicry, and immune dysregulation may contribute to autoimmune and immune-mediated conditions.

Module 6 — Clinical Case: Metabolic Syndrome & Diabetes. Put the concepts together through a clinical case involving insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, inflammation, and the microbiome.

Module 7 — GI-MAP Interpretation & Clinical Cases. Learn a systematic approach to GI-MAP interpretation, including pathogens, opportunistic bacteria, parasites, digestive and inflammatory markers, with clinical cases involving Crohn's disease and celiac disease.

Module 8 — Histamine & Mast Cell Activation. Understand histamine physiology, histamine intolerance, mast cells, MCAS, and their relationship with the intestinal microbiome and gut barrier.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

By the end of the course, you will have a stronger understanding of how to connect:

Microbiome → Gut Barrier → Immune System → Inflammation → Metabolism → Clinical Manifestations

and how to apply this knowledge within the LGS Protocol framework.

Designed for Healthcare ProfessionalsIdeal for physicians, nutritionists, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals interested in gut health, microbiome science, immunology, and integrative medicine.
